Today for "Show Us Your Life" it is "M" trips! Almost two years ago, I spent my summer in East Asia (aka China). I studied at a university there and made friends. I was apart of a team of six girls from all over Texas and Oklahoma. This was the absolute best summer of my life. I have never felt more at "home" and LOVED living there. Being overseas has changed how I live here in America for the better and has opened my eyes to some many new things!
I have never liked the word "missions." I feel like our life is a mission. Truth be told we should be intentional about telling people about Jesus wherever we are and in whatever we are doing! I have learned to be more intentional now after being overseas and seeing how desperately people need to know the Good News of our Savior!!!!!!!!!
My heart does long to travel back to China. I don't know when or for how long but personally I don't feel like I cannot not go back. I love those precious people and long for them to know Jesus!
Here is some pictures.
This is my team and our Chinese teacher.
The girl with her arm around me, I still email back and forth with!
{Please pray she (and these other girls) would come to know Jesus! While in China, I found out her grandmother was a Believer!! What ancient work of the Father!!!!}
:)
Oh the children! I could write a whole blog post about them! They are so sweet and precious! I wanted to bring some of them back with me!!!!
Here is a Chinese doctor that taught us Chinese massage.
As you can see, pictures tell stories and seeing peoples faces make them all the more real. The greatest times of my trip were when I got to share the Good News with friends. NOTHING can replace or top that! I am praying for souls to still be saved and the Lord to bring a great harvest of His people to Him!

Hi Briana, I'm still looking through the posts about M trips from Kelly's Korner and I came across yours. I share in your love for China! I have been the past three Christmases for "Christmas in China" and now I'm applying to go as a journeyman for 2 years after I graduate in May! Whenever I hear of people who have been it makes me SOO EXCITED so I had to comment on your post! I hope and pray you make it back to China soon! I'm not sure what year you are in college but you could certainly participate in CIC, too I'm sure! Thanks so much for sharing!
