Well, You Know...

Hey Blog Friends!

Christmas just keeps continuing around here! {which I absolutely LOVE!!!} And I haven't had time to even finish sorting through my Christmas pictures so next week sometime they should be up! But truthfully we are only half way finished celebrating! Tomorrow my family and I are headed to Wichita to have Christmas with the Whaley's {my mom's side of the fam}. So why not combine all of the pictures then? I thought it was an excellent idea! :)

So for New Years, we will be there and celebrating! So this is my last post of 2009! I will do a Christmas post and an End of the Year wrap up post next week! Then I will introduce some new and exciting things for 2010! {That is so weird to even type!}

Anyway, I wish you a very Happy and Healthy New Year! I am spending much of the end of 2009 in prayer for the year ahead and want more than ever next year to be all about Him!

May He receive glory for every word I type!!!

Til 2010, much love!

A White Christmas Eve!

Merry Christmas Eve!!!!

A white Christmas it is indeed here! I don't remember if we have ever had one before so this has been a really fun day! (It was 70 degrees here in Texas yesterday and today it is 25 degrees and snowing! Gotta love Texas!)

We had the Van Zandt (Dad's side) Christmas gift exchange today! We had a great time and it snowed the whole time! {I will post pictures later once I compile them from all of the different cameras!}

I LOVE Christmas so much! Celebrating the birth of our Savior is so special because Him birth changed the world for all of eternity! Without Him, we would be lost! His birth made the Cross possible! He is the greatest gift ever given!

I hope you celebrate this year from the bottom of your heart! Thank the Lord for all that He is! Cherish your time and love on those around you!

O Come Let Us Adore Him!

Christ the Lord!!!!

Things I Have Knitted! Part 3

A couple of weeks ago, {yes I am behind!} I went to visit a sweet family who I have babysat for for the last two years! They recently had a little boy and named him, Luke Henry! I knitted him a blanket and also brought his sister, Greta her birthday present! It was a fun time!

Getting ready to open!

Playing Catch Up!

As I mentioned last week, I am behind! On lots of stuff! I am trying to get caught up so over the next couple of days I will try and post some pictures of the last couple of weeks! :)

I wanted to share my new coffee table make over with you!

Orginally, I bought this basket and decided to put sand and seashells that I {and my dad} have collected over the last couple of years in Flordia! But as you see sand we everywhere and driving me crazy! So my new mission was to find something to put in its place!
See what I found?

I love this boat shaped wood bowl! It is perfect for my coffee table and looks great {I think!}!

Now there is a little less sand in my life....

which I am grateful for!

A Weekend at the Farm...

I spent the weekend at the farm! I had a great time and here is some pictures I took! :)

I got to wear my boots
{Ha! I only wear them once or twice a year so I thought I should take a picture!}

One of the best parts of the weekend I got to see my sweet cousin, Avery! :) It was so fun and I LOVED holding her!
Remember this little thing?
First day, I saw her!
{On April 29th, 2009!}

In June!

And here is Miss Avery Jean now at 6 1/2 months old! :)

I bought her this shirt at her baby shower! Can't believe she is already big enough to wear it!

She just started sitting up!

Wearing her daddy's hat! :)

Me and Avery Jean!
