This is the verse for our Missions Emphasis Week! Our theme was ALL (taken from this verse meaning we should be ALL things to ALL people!)

Missions Emphasis Week is offically over as of 1:30 this afternoon. What a week! :) It has been a joy and blessing to listen about what the Lord is doing all over the world! May He be glorifed!

Right after lunch, I jump in my car and headed back to Midlothian for the weekend. I got back in time to go and take a test for my online class and tonight happend to be the anniversary concert for Shiloh (a singing group out of my home church)! It was really good! (I will post pictures tomorrow...WAY too tired tonight!!!)

Today, I also found out that my Aunt Becky has colon cancer. It is hard just to type these words. I am kinda in shock...like most of our family! We are praying for ultimate healing from the Healer. This isn't a surprise to God. He has known from the beginning of time and He is still on the throne. AND we will praise Him for He is good! Like in the verse Colossians 1:17, "He is before all thing and in Him all things consist!"

This verse has spoken so much to me lately! I have claimed this as my fall verse and think of it daily!

LORD-YOU ARE GOOD!

I know this is a lot but this is also my 100th Blog post! :) Yay!

Missions Emphasis Week continued...

Whew! I am at the end of a crazy week but it has been so wonderful and encouraging! Yesterday's breakfast went very well! It was great to see students, missionaries and church staff gather together to worship! I was so busy I didn't get to take any pictures but I know some who did and maybe if I can get some of theirs I will post them! :) (We will see!)

There were so many good things about yesterday! Here is just a few of the quotes I heard throughout the day:

"The only way to disarm the enemy is through the power of the Cross!"

"God uses our weakness through His grace!"

"We should have ONE mission and ONE passion!"

"Our world desperately in need of a Savior!"

**That is just a few things that I have been thinking about today as well! **

Well on to today!

Here is a picture of the classroom that I am in! I love it so much and have really enjoyed getting to spend four plus hours a week with these kids! There is something so beautiful and innocent about being with children! They are such a gift! I am praying for this precious gifts and that they someday will come to know the Father! I am already struggling with not being able to see them after December! (We just won't talk about that right now....) For the Lord has given me the here and now and with that I will praise Him! :)

AND in other big news I was filling out my housing form for next semester and I got to write SENIOR!!!!!!!!!!!

When did I get to be a SENIOR in college?

Well....I have no idea where the last almost three years have gone!

It says "Senior!"

WOW! So thankful for this season which the Lord has brought me to UMHB! It has been probably the best of my life! Looking forward to what He is going to do with my time left here and where He is going to lead me next!

This Week!

This week is Missions Emphasis Week at UMHB! It is my FAVORITE week of the year! :) We have 40 missionaries coming from all over the world to share about what God is doing! I am on the steering committee that plans the week! It has been a wonderful experience and I am so glad I have been apart of it! May the Lord be glorfied in this week! :)

Less Than a Week...

And I will be decorating for Christmas!! Christmas is TWO MONTHS from today! :) I usually decorate right after Halloween and enjoy my decorations all the way until Christmas! :) This is my favorite time of year! :)

AND today is my cousin, Cole's EIGHTH birthday! :) Happy Birthday, Cole! I can't believe you are 8! :)

UMHB Homecoming 2009!

Last night (Friday) and today (Saturday) is UMHB's annual homecoming! It is a time when alumuni come back and get together with current students! :) Friday night was the peprally and then we had hot chocolate/ice cream sundae's/live music afterwards! :)

And on Saturday was the UMHB vs. Southern Oregon football game! My parents came in for the game and we had a great time! :)

A "Normal" Day

"Normal" is such a relevant term these days....today was as normal of a day as I get! I spent some time with first graders and had class. My roommate, Stefanie and I took picuture because both of us were dressed up {I am everyday that I teach!} and just some other random stuff! :)
