Nothing but the Gospel

Last night I went to my Bible study that I have been apart of for nearly two and a half years. Over the last two years, we have had many great nights and I have thoroughly enjoyed the community we have built each week.

I feel like last night was one of the best nights we have had in a long time and probably in the top five we have ever had.

What we discussed was simple but is powerful and more relevant than anything else. We talked about people and how they need the Gospel. Nothing more and nothing less.

The truth is we all need the Gospel and once we have embraced it; we need it to refine us, mold us and create in us a new work. We change but I am thankful the Gospel does not. It is still powerful, extraordinary, and nothing but amazing.

The Gospel changes hearts and lives when it penetrates deep. It is a message that causes action and reactions. It is Truth!

As we thought of people around the world, they do not need religion, a demonination, and ritual. They need the story and message of the Gospel.

It is as simple as that.

No sugar coating or word twisting.

Just the truth.

Now how will they know unless they are told?
