2 months in

Happy last day in February!

How did we already get 2 months into this brand new year? As "they" say, time flys when you are having fun!

Not much to update you with now, today has been a great day worshipping with the Body, catching up on all sorts of stuff and going to Bible study!

I will post more tomorrow in detail after I process some stuff and figure out how to word my thoughts!

Spaghetti Squash Saturday!

Today I decided to try and new recipe for a common food! :) I made homemade meatballs, spaghetti sauce, squash, and whole wheat spaghetti for dinner! :) It was delicious and so filling!

I started with a squash and baked it for about 50 minutes!

I cut the squash up {which is kinda hard!}!

And I took the seeds out.

Once it finished baking, I took a fork and scraped it away from the skin.

Homemade sauce! {It is a Biggest Loser recipe! It was spicy but delicious!}

This is also a Biggest Loser recipe! The meatballs were good as well!

The squash is under the spaghetti noodles! With the spaghetti, you can barely taste the squash and your getting an extra veggie in! :) That is a win-win in my book!

A Crazy Weather Week!

So this week has been absolutely crazy!!! I am glad it is over but it still was a good week! Our weather this week has been crazy as well! It was doing this on Tuesday...

This is about an hour after I got up on Tuesday!

Snow!

And on Thursday, I broke out my chacos! {Chacos are the best shoes in the world. When I was overseas in China I were them everyday! They are expensive but worth every penny!}

I am so glad is has been warmer the last couple of days! :)

Snow Much Fun!!!!!!!!!

So on Tuesday it SNOWED!!! It was a great surprise and a much needed break from school! Here in central Texas, we got about 4 inches which is a lot of snow for here! Someone told me that it hasn't snowed that much here in about 20+ years! So what did we do? We played! :)

Worn Out Much?

Have you ever had one of those weeks that just wears you out? Well, I am worn out physically, emotionally, and spiritually. It must just be that time in the semester where everything is coming to head and I have so much going on, but I know that the Lord has a plan and a purpose. I trust Him because He knows best and is in control!

This weekend has been good but not as restful as I would have liked! This week I am praying for strength and endurance. I can rest assured that God is already there.

WHAT HOPE WE HAVE IN HIM!

Time

Wow, where has the last week gone? I feel like it has vanished and I have no remembrance of it! Life is really crazy right now. There is always something going on and it is sometimes hard to get around to blogging (especially at night because ALL I want to do is sleep!).

So sorry for my absence....I hopefully will be back to my regular blogging routine soon.

I also wanted to share with you one of the current books I am reading! I have been really challenged and encouraged by this book called, "Living by the Book." This is the book that my Missions Bible study is going through this semester and it is full of useful information about how to study the Bible. As I keep reading, I want to share more with you but I at least thought I would tell you what I am reading now! :)

Well, it is Friday again! WOW! Cannot believe how fast this year is already going! Today for show us your life is Beauty Tips from Kelly's Korner!

These are my beauty tips for you all!

1. "Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she
shall be praised."

I definitely think to be a truly beautiful woman you have to fear the Lord, but not in a afraid way, in a reverent and upholding way. Women who love the Lord are beautiful and their beauty is in that love. This love is amazing and contagious!

2. Have a great hairspray! My favorite is Freeze It! It works wonderfully and holds all day!

{But make sure you buy the Original in the purple logo! It works the best!!!!}

2. Use a great shampoo! I use Bed Head for Blondes. And yes, it is called Dumb Blonde but I take offence to that!

4. Eyeliner! I love this liquid eyeliner by NYC! It is so cheap and works great!

5. I use Revlon Age Defying Makeup Foundation! It goes on so smooth and I feel like it stays on pretty well!

6. I use this moisturizer! It is a lotion but I also use it on my face! :)

Can you believe it is already February? I can't! Where did January go? I have no clue! If all the months go as fast as this one, 2010 will be over before we know it!

Well, the Groundhog predicted six more weeks of winter! That should be interesting....
