Hello, My name is Briana.....

AND I am still breathing! I cannot believe we are already into the month of October! WHERE HAS TIME GONE!?!?! I am currently in a crazy season of life right now!

Many of you know that I am almost finished with my Education degree and right now student teaching (aka you work your tail off for free)! I can officially say that I am half way done with this! In 9 weeks, I will be officially finished with my degree and a college graduate!

This crazy season has made life really complicated and hard to get anything done! I have tons of pictures and things to post about what has been going on. I decided to take a break and focus on other things, but I am back now and ready to play catch up! :)

If you have read my blog at all or know me, you know that I have lost quite a bit of weight this year! To God be the glory! He is the only way I can/could do this! (Nothing shall be impossible unto Him!!!) I feel like I have been a rut lately and just can't seem to budge! BUT tonight I was looking back at pictures from one year ago and pictures from tonight.....

Crazy huh? I have made progress even if I don't feel it everyday! This is motivating me to finish what I started and live like I am suppose to!

The BIG 5-OH!

In spirit of recapping, I thought I would put together two major things that happened recently involving the number 50! On June 23rd, we celebrated my dad's birthday! :)

It was during the week and all of us were working and it was a Wednesday night so we had church too, but we celebrated a few days later too!

The same week I also officially hit a total of 50 pounds lost since the beginning of the year!!!! It has been a long process and journey, but with God ALL things are possible! I give Him all the glory because without Him I could not have done this!

That month called JUNE!

Well Hello There Dear Family and Friends!

Can you believe it is July? I certainly can not! What a whirlwind the last six weeks or so! Life has been really crazy but good all at the same time.

So I thought I would recap a little bit for the month of June:

1. Well, the end of May we went Memorial Day with family in Kansas and had a great time!

2. Beginning of June: I started my summer job! I am watching 2 boys for the summer that are 10 years old and 6 months! It has been a daily adventure but LOTS of fun!

3. Also I started my last class online for my undergrad degree! (which now I am finished with PRAISE the Lord!)

4. My great friend Ashley got married. I had a blast spending the weekend in Lampases, Tx and taking in all of the wedding festivites!

5. My computer is not working right! I know sad day! I cannot connect to the internet so therefore I can't post any pictures. This is the main reason I haven't been posting! You know how much I love pictures! :)

6. I have still been completely the Bible study "Breaking Free" by Beth Moore. It seriously has been the best one I have ever done! I am still loving it!

Okay, I think that is the Readers Digest version of the last month or so! I am tired just trying to remember all that I have done!

I am working on getting some of my pictures and I will hopefully get those up soon! I miss blogging about my weeks! I think this is the best way to scrapbook and journal because then I can remember all that I have done! :)

Monday!

Hey guys!

Just a minute for a quick update! Hope you are doing well and had a great weekend!

Yesterday, my sister and I left to go and visit some family and will be gone for about 12 days! We are very excited and had a great trip yesterday!

I will try and update throughout the next week or so and of course I will have tons of pictures!!! :)

Hello Friends and Family!

I know it has been forever since I have posted but it has a CRAZY last couple of weeks. Last week, I worked 64 hours in 5 days and moved the weekend before. So this first part of summer has started out busy but I am hoping to have some time to catch up in the next couple of days!

Time to Celebrate!

Tonight was a night of celebration! The end of the semester has come and this is something to celebrate!!!! My roommate, Stefanie is also graduating so we celebrated that as well! We went to this place here.

It was delicious and so much fun! It definately feels weird not having to study or anything any more! So now it is offical, I took my last final of my college career today! Woo hoo! This is a great feeling and I am really happy! :)

The March at Midnight!

A couple of weeks ago, we had Midnight March at UMHB. Midnight March is for SENIORS and it is a time where senior give candles to special people in their lives and light the candles at midnight while singing our SENIOR song "Up with the Purple!" I got to wear my graduation gown and it was such a special and fun night! :)

I love traditions and this one is close to my favorite!

A "LOVEly" Shower

Saturday, I went to one of my very good friends, Ashley's bridal shower! It was in Lampases, about an hour away and such a sweet and beautiful shower! I love all things about weddings and it is so fun when friends get married!

I packed/moved all morning so it was fun to take a break and have some fun with friends! The shower was just great! I am so glad I went! A few weeks ago, I helped throw Ashley a shower as well!

{Side note: I have noticed now that I have a lot of friends getting married....that you get lots of great stuff at showers!!! WOW!}

This was such a cute idea! It is a 'towel' cake! And Ashley got to keep the towels after the shower!

The base {bottom two} is a bath towel, the middle is a hand towel and the top is a wash cloth!

So Bed, Bath and Beyond's gift wrapping colors are purple this season!

{LOVE IT! For those of you that don't know, my favorite color is purple especially the shade of the box above!}

Bluebonnets!

Last week, after the race we took some bluebonnet pictures! In Texas, this is an annual event and my parents happen to have a bunch in their backyard! We have taken pictures in them since we were really little! :)
