Thanksgiving Week

This week I am looking forward to being away and with family!

I know I need a break! I am excited about a lot going on (I will post more on that later!) and yet overwhelmed by life.

Life is really crazy and I am hoping to get caught up on school stuff, blog posts, and maybe finish my Christmas shopping! :)

I will post later this week with some updates!

Things I Have Knitted! Part 3

A couple of weeks ago, {yes I am behind!} I went to visit a sweet family who I have babysat for for the last two years! They recently had a little boy and named him, Luke Henry! I knitted him a blanket and also brought his sister, Greta her birthday present! It was a fun time!

Playing Catch Up!

As I mentioned last week, I am behind! On lots of stuff! I am trying to get caught up so over the next couple of days I will try and post some pictures of the last couple of weeks! :)

I wanted to share my new coffee table make over with you!

Orginally, I bought this basket and decided to put sand and seashells that I {and my dad} have collected over the last couple of years in Flordia! But as you see sand we everywhere and driving me crazy! So my new mission was to find something to put in its place!

See what I found?

I love this boat shaped wood bowl! It is perfect for my coffee table and looks great {I think!}!

Now there is a little less sand in my life....

which I am grateful for!

A Weekend at the Farm...

I spent the weekend at the farm! I had a great time and here is some pictures I took! :)

One of the best parts of the weekend I got to see my sweet cousin, Avery! :) It was so fun and I LOVED holding her!

Compassion

I love Compassion International! They are wonderful, amazing and truly represent the name of Jesus! What is Compassion? Compassion lets you sponsor a child and that money goes to provide them clothes, food for their family, and a way to go to school. Such a beautiful thing! It is amazing to see the difference they make!

I sponsored a little girl named Ingritt in Indonesia for almost 19 months...I was so very sad that I could not continue to support her because her family left the project area. I am still praying for that little girl and know that one I will see her! What a beautiful thing that will be!

Banana Bread

So like weeks ago I made banana bread and took pictures {of course!}! And I am just now posting them! This is a lower fat banana bread that I got off of allrecipes.com and it was really great! :)

I used old bananas! :)

Canton

On Saturday, my friend Sarah, her mom and me went to Canton, Texas for a day of shopping! Canton is known as "First Monday Trade Day" and people from all over come out to experience it! We had a great but long day! :)

I think we definately walked like twelve miles that day!

Christmas Tree with a Twist

Today is November 1st! WOW! How did we get 10 months through 2009? I don't know where time is going! Way too fast! :)
