Engage Eleven

"Engage Eleven" is the theme for my home church this year! The idea is to engage yourself with people and use the opportunities the Lord gives you to bless others. So "ENGAGE" yourself with people all around you and into the world.

I am very excited about this year and theme. I LOVE the idea that this theme is based on Acts 1:8. This is where Jesus commands His disciples to go into Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and unto the utter most parts of the world! (VERY practical and EVERY Believer can apply this verse!!!)

Here is a cake I decroated for a luncheon at my church with the theme logo on the cake!

It was delicious if I do say so myself!
(AND no I don't make cakes often and really do practice the all things in moderation!!!)

Fall Cakes

A couple of weeks ago my family hosted a church staff dinner at our house as a thank you to our awesome church staff! My dad made burgers and I was in charge the cakes! :) Here is both cakes I made in one weekend! I think everyone liked them and we only only had a couple of pieces left! :) Happy Fall!

Birthday Fun!

Today is my friend Kathy's birthday! I met Kathy (as well as most of my great friends) at UMHB my freshman year! We all lived on the same side of the hall and have been close ever since! So this week I made her a cake and decorated it for her birthday! On Thursday night, we all went to dinner together to celebrate and came to my apartment after for cake! Here is some pictures of my cake decorating experience! :)

Cake for Pastor

This past week I made a cake for our Pastor for his birthday! Recently, I have gotten into decorating cakes and really enjoyed doing so! I still need to practice a lot but I am having fun learning! :)

Our Pastor likes baseball so the cake says "Happy Birthday to our MVP- 'Most Valuable Pastor!'"
