My Life Right Now...

Big changes and new beginnings are ahead. I don't have a clue what is going to happen but so glad that He does!

Are you ready for this month? I think I am! March=SPRING BREAK!

PRAISE THE LORD! Less than two weeks and I will have a WHOLE week off! I am very excited about this and hope that it will be a time that I can recharge and be renewed for the rest of this semester!

I am in awe of the greatness of our Lord! Last night/today, I have been thinking about the goodness of Jesus and how He is everything to me. Words cannot express the need I have for Jesus in my life or the vastness of what He has done for me! May my life bring Him praise in all that I do!

I am praying this verse especially for the month of March!

"Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:
And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting."

{Psalm 139:23-24}

I want my life to reflect that of my King.

and nothing else.

Time

Wow, where has the last week gone? I feel like it has vanished and I have no remembrance of it! Life is really crazy right now. There is always something going on and it is sometimes hard to get around to blogging (especially at night because ALL I want to do is sleep!).

So sorry for my absence....I hopefully will be back to my regular blogging routine soon.

I also wanted to share with you one of the current books I am reading! I have been really challenged and encouraged by this book called, "Living by the Book." This is the book that my Missions Bible study is going through this semester and it is full of useful information about how to study the Bible. As I keep reading, I want to share more with you but I at least thought I would tell you what I am reading now! :)

Show Us Your Life- Beauty Tips!

Well, it is Friday again! WOW! Cannot believe how fast this year is already going! Today for show us your life is Beauty Tips from Kelly's Korner!

These are my beauty tips for you all!

1. "Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she
shall be praised."

I definitely think to be a truly beautiful woman you have to fear the Lord, but not in a afraid way, in a reverent and upholding way. Women who love the Lord are beautiful and their beauty is in that love. This love is amazing and contagious!

2. Have a great hairspray! My favorite is Freeze It! It works wonderfully and holds all day!

{But make sure you buy the Original in the purple logo! It works the best!!!!}

2. Use a great shampoo! I use Bed Head for Blondes. And yes, it is called Dumb Blonde but I take offence to that!

4. Eyeliner! I love this liquid eyeliner by NYC! It is so cheap and works great!

5. I use Revlon Age Defying Makeup Foundation! It goes on so smooth and I feel like it stays on pretty well!

6. I use this moisturizer! It is a lotion but I also use it on my face! :)

Show Us Your Life- New Years Resolutions!

I love reading Kelly's blog! I found it several months ago and just love reading it! She does "Show Us Your Life" on Fridays and it basically is different topics to blog about! So some Fridays if I can relate to the topics I will post about them! :)

This week's is our New Year Resolutions. I am not a big resolutions kinda girl because honestly I think sometimes it is in name only. So if I had a come up with a resolution for 2010, I would say mine is to read the Bible cover to cover in '10. Every chapter, every line, every word. I trust the Lord to reveal much through His word this year! I am excited to learn and grow this year!

This is the verse for our Missions Emphasis Week! Our theme was ALL (taken from this verse meaning we should be ALL things to ALL people!)

Missions Emphasis Week is offically over as of 1:30 this afternoon. What a week! :) It has been a joy and blessing to listen about what the Lord is doing all over the world! May He be glorifed!

Right after lunch, I jump in my car and headed back to Midlothian for the weekend. I got back in time to go and take a test for my online class and tonight happend to be the anniversary concert for Shiloh (a singing group out of my home church)! It was really good! (I will post pictures tomorrow...WAY too tired tonight!!!)

Today, I also found out that my Aunt Becky has colon cancer. It is hard just to type these words. I am kinda in shock...like most of our family! We are praying for ultimate healing from the Healer. This isn't a surprise to God. He has known from the beginning of time and He is still on the throne. AND we will praise Him for He is good! Like in the verse Colossians 1:17, "He is before all thing and in Him all things consist!"

This verse has spoken so much to me lately! I have claimed this as my fall verse and think of it daily!

My thoughts and prayers have been with the families that were directly affected by 9-11. 8 years seems like along time ago but yet just like yesterday. May the Lord comfort those and the American people hold true to the fact that the Lord is in control and Sovereign over ALL!

Tonight, my friend, Rachel had a party to share about her experience in South Africa! She was in Africa all of last Spring! :) It was so good to see her and hear about how the Lord should her and her teammate during the spring semester! My heart was encouraged and I think I fell in love with some of the kids and wanted to get to hold and love on them!!! :) It was amazing to see what great things the Lord did! Here is some of my favorite pictures from Rachel!
